What's Happening?

What a great issue! What a great team, and what a great representation of the wonderful Writer Highway community. I really enjoyed the selected pieces (and learning of the selector Julie's phd) as well as reading the reports of the live events that took place - I was gutted not to be able to get back for Cathy's Surrender launch and the day at Nottingham Uni sounds fun and productive - a perfect combination. Denise's article on Jerry's writing journey was a really engaging read and I loved Barbara's two wonderfully conversational pieces of writing - every time I read a piece by Barbara I tell myself I must try to engage more with direct speech in my writing, it brings the work so much to life. Thank you to all the team for a very enjoyable read x
