Suitable for writers of all levels of experience, who would like to explore
and experiment with the short story form and who are interested in writing from personal experience or writing fiction.

Includes writing from prompts, discussion and sharing of writing. We will look at some contemporary short stories and focus on aspects of story writing which may include character, setting, theme, point of view, dialogue, plot, using symbols, rewriting and editing. We will also think about how we might turn pieces of memoir, poems or a fairy tale
into a short story.
