Poetry competition opportunity
Hello highway writers http://www.sdpf.org.uk/competition/ If my moment of unexpected success has inspired you to enter a competition here's The South Downs Poetry Festival 'Binsted Prize' competition! The deadline is 19th April and applications are by post so don't dilly-dally if you want to join in (payment for entries can be online though). Binsted is very close to my heart as it is where I am staying in my late parents' house until our house is ready to move into. It is a small but vibrant village on the edge of the South Downs National Park with a rich history set in beautiful ancient woodland and farming country and is under threat from a 70mph 4 lane bypass being driven through it.
