Meet and Mingle
Good Afternoon Writers - Trying to write my poetry homework for next poetry session, but having a bit of a lull in thoughts, so I thought I will send this little reminder of our up and coming social event on Saturday 20th May.
It is called 'Meet and Mingle: The Sequel - we had such an enjoyable Meet and Mingle at the Malt Cross last term and members who came thought it would be good to do it again, hence The Sequel. It is a great opportunity for a Saturday afternoon cuppa (coffee/tea or something stronger); a delicious piece of cake; mix with fellow writers and chat about anything and everything, interests, books you have read, the coronation, the weather 🤣 get to meet with old friends and make new ones.
I have attached the invitation to the event, there are a few places left, so when you've read this, send me an email, book a place and come and join us.
If you cannot make this event, our next one will be on Saturday 10th June 2023 (10am to 2pm) at Greens Windmill, Nottingham. Full details will be sent to members shortly.
