Writing opportunity from Five leaves
Five Leaves new poetry series provides an outlet for East Midlands poets who have yet to be published in book or pamphlet form, recognising the abundant talent in our region. Until now, these pamphlets have been commissioned. We do not usually consider unsolicited approaches or unsolicited manuscripts. This June, however, we will open a submissions window for under-represented poets. These include (but are not limited to) people of colour, LGBT+, poets with disabilities, neurodivergent poets, working-class poets.... who live or work in the East Midlands: Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, or Northamptonshire.
Submissions must contain between 20–45 poems of up to one page in length (fewer if some/all of the poems are longer).
