Yet Another Great Magazine!
I've just finished reading the latest edition of Between The Lines and it was packed full of so much brilliant stuff.
There were write-ups on all the achievements in terms of publications and competition successes, which were so fantastic to see. Huge congratulations to everyone! How well are you all doing!
It was lovely to read about all the Writer Highway social events. As well as being great events for sharing work, they are always such positive, friendship-affirming gatherings. That's what I love about them. We are a writing community and these events strengthen our bond as a group of creatives.
I thought that the article on Helen Baron was insightful and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the article about Roy Young. His paintings are so striking, and his poem captured a particular moment in time so memorably.
So, all in all, I think we should all congratulate ourselves on what we have achieved.
Thank you, Bobbie, for putting this magazine together for all of us. It's easy to overlook the time and sheer hard work that goes into the production of these things. I just want to let you know that it's hugely appreciated.
