POETRY WRITING HOLIDAY PROJECT!

Low Carbon/ Sustainability Poetry Competition

Entries are invited on the theme of low carbon/ sustainability. Poems must not be longer than 40 lines. Entries may be submitted by email (matt.black@pop3.poptel.org.uk ) or on recycled/found materials or objects.

These could be posted to: Matthew Black, 44 Gresham Avenue, Leamington Spa CV32 7RA. Please include your name and contact details somewhere on or with your entry.

The entries will be judged solely on the quality of the poems, but entries on recycled/ found materials are welcome, and Matt would like to display some of these, with the poet’s permission, at their Low Carbon event.

First prize is £30, Second prize is £20, Third prize is £10. Plus a special low carbon prize for the poem on the most interesting recycled/ found material or object.

The winner will be invited to read their poem at their Low Carbon Warwickshire Network event in Cubbington Village Hall, near Leamington, on the morning of June 3rd. Or possibly by pre-recorded video.
