Poetry Workshop with poet Jo Dixon
Poet and lecturer Jo Dixon is running a poetry workshop for Nottingham Poetry Society at the International Community Centre, 61B Mansfield Road, Nottingham NG1 3FN.
The centre is a short walk from the Victoria Centre up Mansfield Road.
This workshop will take place on Saturday 18th November, 2pm - 4pm.
Please bring with you:
· a medium-sized stone - one that will fit in the palm of your hand
· an object from a kitchen/junk drawer - don't think about the object, just have a rummage and grab something quick. (Please don’t bring a knife or anything sharp though).
Jo Dixon is the author of the pamphlet A Woman in the Queue (Melos, 2016) and the poetry collection Purl (Shoestring, 2020). She is a lecturer in Creative Writing at De Montfort University.
This workshop is free to NPS members, £5 for non-members, £4 for students.
Let me know if you plan to come. It's pay on the door for non-members.

Really glad you're going, stone was easier than the kitchen object will be.
