What's Happening?

I've just had the most tremendous evening at Five Leaves Bookshop listening to Jan Norton and Roy Young reading poems from their newly published pamphlets. Not only that, but they were supported by Trish Kerrison and Teresa Forrest who read tremendous poems from their pamphlets. As if that wasn't enough, we were treated to a taster of the next pamphlets to be published, which included Julie Burke and Fiona Theokritoff. There were other poets too who read and performed their work brilliantly. Seeing so many of us supporting these insanely talented poets was heartwarming. It felt like a home from home. And a very lovely one at that.

I know I've probably (definitely) missed someone out, and I apologise for that, but I felt very privileged to hear these tremendous poets read their exquisite poetry to us this evening. Inspired me to keep on writing...
