As many of you will know, Indigo Dreams is a much-loved Multi-Award winning publishing company which was voted UK’s Most Innovative Publisher in 2015 and again in 2021. They have published nearly 400 poetry collections / anthologies, together with two poetry magazines. Indigo is known for its friendly, efficient relationship with its authors and have a ‘Pleasure, not Pressure’ approach.

Ronnie and Dawn were honoured with the Ted Slade Award for Services to Poetry in 2023, the only poets in its 20 year history to win the award twice, having won in 2015. Previous winners include Michael Horovitz and Geoff Stevens so they’re pretty chuffed with that. They’ll be reading from their joint collection Forest moor or less which won Best Collaborative Work Award in 2021, and now in its 3rd reprint. Sir Elton John wrote them a hand-written letter saying that he loved the book so much he started his weekend reading it and did nothing until he’d finished!
*****
Dawn is a graduate in both English and Library Science. She has won several poetry awards, been widely published in the poetry press and has two published collections prior to ‘Forest’: ‘Loud Voices in the Quiet Child’ (2008) and ‘Shippen’ (2014).
Ronnie is the author of six collections, prior to ‘Forest’. He ran his own celebrity management company where he handled projects for (among others) Uri Geller, international cricketers Ian Botham and ‘Jack’ Russell, DJ Mike Read plus several failed bands! He was on the BBC2 Judging Panel for their ‘Off By Heart’ poetry competition. Ronnie is also Poet-in Residence for the League Against Cruel Sports.

This looks really interesting. How do I get a ticket for this? I'm not a member of NPS. x
